Very close to El Calafate and facing Argentino Lake you'll be welcomed with tea and cakes and home made bread and jams. After that a tour is conducted through the Estancias, where you can sight birds and watch the sheep driving with shepherd dogs and a shearing demonstration. All visitors can rent horses if they wish and then end the day with a typical asado of patagonian lamb and a local folk music show.
4x4 Crossing
We will start our journey going through part of Huyliche hill getting to Balcón de Calafate. You will enjoy of a panoramic view of the town and fascinating Condor sighting. Then we proceed through amazing sites such as Laberinto de las Piedras and Piedras de los Sombreros, and we set off the return journey with a view of the imposing Argentino Lake.
Horseback Riding
In our riding we'll surround the shore of Lake Argentino, where we will stop to watch the flamingos, the black-necked swans and other Patagonian birds, as well as the panoramic view of El Calafate, from the surrounding hills.
